When you finally commit to your vision and take action,

That all kinds of "opportunities" will start showing up.

...really great opportunities...

BUT not all are actually are aligned and are there to distract you. I remember her quote near the end of the Creating on Purpose workshop that "opportunities are shiny black dresses".

The last few weeks have had MASSIVE amount of tests on my path. Literally each one had a direct purpose in testing a new belief, value, and life pattern that I am creating. These have been tests to see if I will take the bait.

🦋 Saying "no" to one of my mentor teachers and their shiny offer...but it was not aligned to my path and next steps...very shiny....but not aligned.

🦋 Increasing my prices to honor the value of the work...to have to hold true to a boundary when a friend and former client reached out who was used to the old pricing.

🦋 Letting my ego take a seat from a collaborative manuscript that I had worked on 2 years ago that we wanted to publish as a white paper before the sunset of the organization...my energy had detached from this and felt heavy...yet knowing the heart and time I had put into it over the years...to allow my ego to step aside and invite my co-author(s) to take the lead instead which aligns to their next path rather than where my path is headed.

🦋 The combination of ALL of these lessons in the most recent test this past week: My love of supporting children, mindfulness/yoga, creating something new as a leader, value of the work, "if you are not able to help, we won't do it", and to yet another mentor team of teachers....THIS was very, very hard...but it was yet another shiny black dress....and I said no.

The dresses are VERY hard to decipher, but when you feel it, you know. The energy draining versus energy filling. I am celebrating that I made these choices and actions where, in the past, I would have said "yes" to all of them.

A lot of growth since coming back from the road trip, and I am grateful to keep taking action towards manifesting my vision.
